WHO REPRESENTS YOU
To increase your chances of being heard by elected officials, HANDS
members, as with all housing advocates, must be registered voters.
FOR REGISTERED VOTERS
1. If you are registered to vote in Delaware, you can find
out where you vote (election district) and what state representative
and senatorial district you are in by clicking
http://pollingplace.delaware.gov/.
2. To see who your Delaware state
representative and senator are, click
http://legis.delaware.gov. then click on "House" in the left
column, then on your county under "Districts." Scroll down to find
your representative district number and click on it. You can also
then click on the name of your representative and see information
about her or him.
Following this, you can do the same for the state Senate, clicking
on "Senate" in the left column and clicking on your county, scroll
down and click on your senatorial district number.
3. COUNTY COUNCIL /LEVY COURT In
order to find out who your county council (New Castle or Sussex)
or Levy Court (Kent) elected representative is, call the phone number
for your county or follow the listed web link:
